Ketamine-assisted therapy (KAP) is one of the most promising developments in modern mental health treatment. Unlike traditional talk therapy alone, KAP combines the neuro-plasticity enhancing effects of ketamine with deep therapeutic work — creating a window of expanded awareness in which lasting psychological change becomes possible.
Ketamine works by temporarily quieting the default mode network — the part of the brain responsible for rumination, self-criticism, and rigid thought patterns. In this softened state, clients often access emotions, memories, and insights that have been unavailable through conventional therapy. The experience is then integrated in subsequent sessions, transforming insight into lasting change.
Who Can Benefit From Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy?
- Treatment-resistant depression or anxiety
- Grief and profound loss
- Existential distress or spiritual crisis
- Spiritual emergence and kundalini awakening
- Artists and creatives navigating deep blocks or identity shifts
My Approach to Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy
I bring a distinctly integrative lens to KAP — drawing on somatic experiencing, Jungian psychology, EMDR, and psychedelic integration frameworks. My work isn’t limited to the medicine session itself; the preparation and integration phases are where the real transformation takes root.
I am a MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Sciences) and Integrative Psychiatry Institute (IPI) certified practitioner. I work in close collaboration with prescribing psychiatrists to ensure the safest, most supported experience possible.
The Three Phases of Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy
1. Preparation
We build the therapeutic relationship, clarify your intentions, and prepare your nervous system for the experience. This phase is never rushed — the quality of preparation directly shapes what becomes possible.
2.The Medicine Session
Held in a safe container in a carefully curated set and setting, with me present throughout. You are never alone in the experience.
3. Integration
The most important phase. We work somatically and psychologically to weave the insights and experiences from the medicine session into lasting change. Without integration, the window opens but nothing walks through.
Psychedelic Integration Therapy
Ketamine is one of several medicines that can open profound inner experiences — and my work extends to supporting people before and after encounters with other consciousness-expanding substances, including psilocybin, MDMA, and ayahuasca.
Whether you are preparing for a ceremonial or therapeutic experience, or seeking to make sense of one you’ve already had, integration therapy provides the container in which the real work happens. Without skilled integration, powerful experiences often remain fragmented — vivid but unresolved. With it, they become the foundation for lasting transformation.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Is Ketamine Legal?
Yes — ketamine is FDA-approved and legally prescribed by licensed psychiatrists
Do I need a referral?
No. We can begin with a consultation and I will coordinate with a prescribing psychiatrist as part of the process.
How many sessions will it take?
Most people begin with a series of 3–6 sessions, though this varies depending on your history and goals.
How is this different than a Ketamine Clinic?
Ketamine clinics typically offer infusions without ongoing therapeutic support. KAP with a licensed therapist means the medicine is held within a real relationship — one that prepares you for the experience and helps you integrate it afterward.
